Laboratory Travel

A travel laboratory professional examines and analyzes body fluids, and cells. They look for bacteria, parasites, and other microorganisms; analyze the chemical content of fluids; match blood for transfusions; and test for drug levels in the blood that show how a patient is responding to treatment.
As a travel laboratory professional you will have the option to choose where and when you will work. You can select from a variety of clinical settings such as small private laboratories, large healthcare facilities, and local hospitals. Typical assignments last 13 weeks, and upon completion you can either renew at the same facility or move to a new location.
